MANISTEE — Regular visitors to the main branch of the Manistee County Library are likely to have noticed some changes since it reopened earlier in September. It could also be a sign of things to come as more renovations are needed. At the regular Aug. 16 meeting of the Manistee County Board of Commissioners, assistant director, Julie Cirone along with executive director, Debra Greenacre briefed the board on the state of the building. 'We've been busy remodeling the Carnegie building. As you all know, we are in a very old, stately building and it's needed a lot of love for decades, to be honest,' Cirone told the commissioners.
