GREENACRES — Burglars ransacked the BMX office trailer at Okeeheelee Park on March 1, causing so much damage that it was unusable. 'It was about as bad as it could be,' said BMX president Jennifer Kraatz. She posted the bad news on the BMX Facebook site, telling members that the bicycle track would be closed until further notice. But that was before the BMX community rallied behind the call for help. More than 100 volunteers showed up, working through the night to repair the office trailer. 'I thought we'd have to shut down for at least two weeks,' Kraatz said.
